Two persons died on Wednesday from COVID-19 in Guyana, taking the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 252. The latest fatality is a 59-year-old male from Region Six (East Berbice-Corentyne) who died while receiving care at a medical facility. Earlier, the Ministry of Health announced the death of a 73-year-old male from Region Seven (Cuyuni-Mazaruni), who also died on Wednesday.
