Two temporary shelters are being established in Region Two. The shelters are being set up at Karawab and St. Monica to accommodate residents who have been displaced as a result of flooding due to heavy rainfall. On Monday, the Civil Defence Commission dispatched items including Cots, blankets, mosquito nets, pillows, water purification tablets, face masks and soap to meet the immediate needs of residents who will be placed at the shelters. At least ten persons in the region have already been identified for evacuation. A total of 1084 households have been impacted by flood waters in region two.
